How to retain equipment when you die on your v-Rising server

Before you begin, make sure to fully stop your server. You should first activate the default mode on your server.

• Navigate to the File Manager.

• Go to the path shown in the following image (container/VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/ServerHostSettings.json) and locate GameSettingsPreset.

Enter custom and save the changes.

• Once the default game mode is activated, we will now change the configuration.

• Go to the path shown in the following image (container/VRisingServer_Data/StreamingAssets/Settings/ServerHostSettings.json).

Look for the line BloodBoundEquipment and modify it. Setting it to false disables this function; setting it to true activates it.

Once done, simply restart your server and verify that the changes have been applied.
