How to make your Sons of the Forest server private

Set password for your server

To set your server as private you must first create a password that users can use to join, so that only users with the password can join the server.

Accessing your server configuration

You can find the main configuration of your server in the

Files > serverconfig

section of your server control panel.

• Log in to your control panel and stop your server.

• Navigate to/home/container/serverconfig/dedicatedserver.cfg

• Go to "Password": "", and put a password between the quotation marks.

• Restart the server.
